Mailbox Monday - Better Late Than Never!

We went to Boulder, CO for the long weekend and just got back a little while ago. We had a fabulous time! Boulder has a wonderful bookstore aptly called the Boulder Bookstore and I picked up a few books there. A couple for the Awesome Author Challenge that if I didn't buy soon I wouldn't get around to reading and one that cracked my boyfriend and I up so much we just had to buy. See if you can pick out which are which!

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia over at the Printed Page and is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists!

1. 'The Blind Assassin' by Margaret Atwood

2. 'Open House' By Elizabeth Berg

3. 'F U, Penguin: Telling Cute Animals What's What' by Matthew Gasteier

What did you get?

  1. Oh boy, I just got Blind Assassin HC at a book sale on Saturday for $1.00. We'll have to do a buddy read sometime...LOL

  2. I have had the Blind Assassin hanging around forever. I was going through books the other day and weeding my collection but I won't ket go of this one just yet because I still want to read it.

  3. I liked Open House - I've liked most of E. Berg's books. Have a good week!

  4. i really want F U Penguin. it looks hilarious.

Want to enter my Book Lover's Basket Giveaway?? It would help my family a ton in the long run too!!

  5. Ooh, I bet The Blind Assassin is a good one! Enjoy!

  6. I liked that Elizabeth Berg book, and I used to be a fan of Margaret Atwood. Perhaps I will dust off my old affection and try the Blind Assassin. Let us know what you think about it.

  7. F U Penguin looks funny. It's the first I've ever heard of it.

    My Mailbox Monday post.
