Mailbox Monday - Mar. 22-27, 2010

It's Mailbox Monday time! Hosted by Marcia over at the Printed Page, Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists!

I hit the PBS motherload this week! Here's what I got:

1. 'Juliet, Naked' by Nick Hornby

2. 'City of Thieves' by David Benioff

3. 'Two Guys Read Jane Austen' by Steve Chandler and Terrence N. Hill

4. 'A Hopeless Romantic' by Harriet Evans

5. 'The Love of Her Life' by Harriet Evans

6. 'Thanks for the Memories' by Cecilia Ahern

What did you get?

  1. Great list! I read the Hornby last November (thought it was ok).

  2. City of Thieves sounds really good. Enjoy your new books!

    Diary of an Eccentric

  3. Thanks for the Memories sounds good. I hope you enjoy all your new books!

  4. I loved City of Thieves!! It's grisly and graphic, but there are scenes from it that I can immediately recall even two years later.

  5. I almost bought you the Hornby book but got you The Help instead. Man, that is a good pile of books you got!

  6. Ok, I have now added three books onto my wishlist based upon your mailbox. This site is apparently my weakness. I added A hopeless romantic, the love of her life, and Thanks for the memories. I also really love Nick Hornby, but I'm fairly certain that I own this book and just have not read it yet. (eek!)

  7. You got some great ones. I look forward to reading your reviews once you've had a chance to read all of these wonderful books!

  8. What a great mailbox! I can't wait to see what Two Guys Read Jane Austen is like.

  9. I can't wait to see what you think of Two Guy Read Jane Austen. My MM is here.

  10. City of Thieves is coming up on my audio book list. Juliet, Naked has caught my eye as well. Enjoy!

  11. I love your haul this week! I still haven't read Juliet, Naked, even though I love Hornby. I haven't read Harriet Evans either, but I picked up those two at the library last week for potential read-a-thon reads. Enjoy!

  12. I read Juliet, Naked and Thanks for the Memories. We'll have to compare notes when you get to them.

Thanks for stopping by Amused By Books and taking the time to comment!
