Amused By Books' Summer Reading List
When I think of summer, my mind instantly goes to me in a hammock, in the sun with a book in my hand (preferably there is a drink in the other!). I know that there are summer reading lists coming out the wazzo, but I would be remiss, if I didn't put up my own wishlist. If I don't, how will I not be able to set some goals.
Here are the top five books from my bookshelves that make me think of summer reading:
1. The Tapestry of Love by Rosy Thornton
2. The Silver Boat by Luanne Rice
3. Radio Shangri-La: What I Learned in Bhutan, The Happiest Kingdom on Earth by Lisa Napoli
4. Emily and Einstein by Linda Francis Lee
5. Already Home by Susan Mallery
What are you dreaming of reading this summer?

Those books sounds lovely :) For me, well no real summer books but I will try for a lot of romance
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great summer reading list. I read Rosy Thornton's book a few months ago and really liked it. The Silver Boat is on my TBR list (won a copy). I remember reading good reviews of Emily and Einstein so I'll look for it. Enjoy all your books :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, Emily and Einstein is a great summer read! I have Tapestry of Love on my stacks...and feel badly I haven't yet read it :) Enjoy your summer reads!
ReplyDeleteI actually like to read the same things year round! What I most look forward to in the summer is more time to read. Perhaps because I hate the heat and rarely want to be outside during summer, or perhaps because the days are so long, I rise earlier and go to bed later, there just seems to be more time to read all the literary fiction I can handle. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the cover of The Silver Boat -- reminds me of summer for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love hearing people's lists for reading! All of those covers look perfect for summer. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe above comment was from me... I was trying to erase the "e" and make a "w" and it published! Oops!
ReplyDeleteThey definitely look like summer reads! I hope to read The Tapestry of Love this summer, too. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI read Rosy Thornton's book a few months ago and enjoyed it. I also read Radio Shangri-La and found it interesting, up until I read the book I had never heard of that little country snuggled away between two other countries.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the books are on my TBR list.
Happy Summer Reading.
