Mailbox Monday: November 7, 2011

It's Mailbox Monday time! Mailbox Monday is going on tour and November is being hosted back at the original Mailbox Monday blog! Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks and audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was busy! I hosted a baby shower! I have never hosted a baby shower before and I am happy to say it went off without a hitch and the mother to be was very happy. Phew! I went with the theme of baby owl's like "look whooo's having a baby" and everyone thought it was very cute and we all had a lot of fun.

Another week, more fun books in the mailbox!

From the author:

1. Second Hand Heart by Catherine Ryan Hyde

A win from Staci of Life in the Thumb
2. Child of the Northern Spring by Persia Woolley

From PBS:
3. All I Want for Christmas by Amy Silver

4. The Violets of the March by Sarah Jio

5. Staying at Daisy's by Jill Mansell

What did you get?

  1. I love Jill Mansell! A Northern Spring wasn't a favorite of mine, I hope you enjoy it more than I did.

  3. I'm totally intimidated at the thought of hosting a baby shower. I'm glad yours went well! Enjoy those books. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on the Christmas title. Once again, I'm hoping to spend December reading winter and Christmas-themed books.
