It actually was a pretty good month. We are still getting a lot of things done for the wedding but a lot of the major stuff is already booked so we are just knocking out some of the 'smaller' items. Bridesmaids and groomsmen's outfits were picked out, rehearsal dinner venue was booked (love the location!), hair and makeup stylist for me and the bridesmaids has been hired, and I am starting to work on some craft projects for the wedding rehearsal now which is kind of fun. It's crazy, there is just alway stuff to do :) We passed the 150 days until the big day mark this month and I am just getting so excited now as it really is all starting to come together!
As busy as it was in April, I managed to read one more book in April than I did in March (woohoo!). This brings my grand total for April up to 5 and my total for the year 25. These numbers make me laugh a little but I am absolutely loving all of the books I am reading so it's all good even if the numbers are small!
Here's how it all broke down:
- There were three books given a Grade B rating this month: The Song Remains the Same by Allison Winn Scotch,; Marriage Confidential: The Post-Romantic Age of Work-Horse Wives, Royal Children, Undersexed Spouses, and Rebel Couples Who Are Rewriting the Rules by Pamela Haag; and How to Love an American Man by Kristine Gasbarre.
- There were two books given a Grade A rating this month: The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani and This Life Is in Your Hands: One Dream, Sixty Acres, and a Family's Heartbreak by Melissa Coleman. Having read a many types of books this month, my hands down favorite for April has to be The Shoemaker's Wife by Adriana Trigiani!
That's my April! I hope you all had a fabulous April as well.
