In Case You Missed It: April 2012!

April flew by for me! I think the theme around this blog was 'sorry, I'll be back next week ... promise!' Life is just crazy this year and I thank you all for sticking with me and I hope everyone had a fabulous April!

It actually was a pretty good month. We are still getting a lot of things done for the wedding but a lot of the major stuff is already booked so we are just knocking out some of the 'smaller' items. Bridesmaids and groomsmen's outfits were picked out, rehearsal dinner venue was booked (love the location!), hair and makeup stylist for me and the bridesmaids has been hired, and I am starting to work on some craft projects for the wedding rehearsal now which is kind of fun. It's crazy, there is just alway stuff to do :) We passed the 150 days until the big day mark this month and I am just getting so excited now as it really is all starting to come together!

As busy as it was in April, I managed to read one more book in April than I did in March (woohoo!). This brings my grand total for April up to 5 and my total for the year 25. These numbers make me laugh a little but I am absolutely loving all of the books I am reading so it's all good even if the numbers are small!

Here's how it all broke down:

That's my April! I hope you all had a fabulous April as well.

  1. How wonderful to have only A and B reads. That makes it all worth it:-)

  2. I only read five in April too, and my grand total is like 28 or something. So we are about the same! I too feel like April flew by. Wow. I'm hoping to read TONS more in May and maybe catch up with my Goodreads 100 books goal. Sheesh.

  3. Congratulations on a good reading month. Wasn't the Shoemaker''s Wife wonderful. My only complaint is that I'm done with it and have to wait for her next book.

  5. I feel like April flew by too. I can't believe how quickly this year is going by. The Life Is In Your Hands was one of my favorite books from last year.
